The courage of my mother

Mom endured the anxiety, discomfort of pregnancy, the pain and uncertainty and terror of labour, to bring us into the world.

The mother's place in Islam is so important as stated in the Quran and Sunnah. Islam commands kindness, respect and obedience to parents specially emphasizes and gives preference to the mother as shall be Shown in this Hadith.

" A man came to the prophet and said, O' Messenger of God! who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship?. The prophet said" your Mother". The man said than who?. The prophet said, "then your mother". The man further asked, 'then who?. The prophet said, " Then your mother". The man asked again, Then who?. The Prophet Said, " then your father".  (Bukhari, Muslim).

They are the cornerstone of our society because they engaged in small-scale businesses on the dusty streets of the towns and spent their income by their families - As she is the only one who always wants to see us happy  - Regardless of their hug and self-sacrificing efforts, a number of women still struggling for the improvement of their lives and those around them.

A Somali mother is the one who is noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed her life.

When Government fall, weapons fall in the hands of vagabonds and freelance gangs. The possession of arms of those irrespective gunmen daily bread either erecting roadblocks or engaging in open looting. Mothers were working in that hard situation, - a single parents face special challenges when everything falls on them - and also thinking her kids while away.

This uniquely powerful brave [Mom Amina] is the mother I am going to describe. She is in mid-fifties, she is the mother of 6 daughters and me, those are all mature now.  " Life began with working up and loving my mother's face ".

When she became a widow, she started to drive the new situation of her family by working tirelessly and passionately so as to safeguard and bring up her kids. " Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections".

Raising kids alone is the really hard situation, but probably the best thing she did was make herself better and most important thing is that she raised us.

From her teenager until her age, she really misses being a couple by sacrificed her kids and she tried to think of the positive and provided a safe place for her children to fall. 

She got up all the nights from her bed to come to ours and soothe us back to sleep, knowing that she will arrive early tomorrow so as to gain the livelihood of her children with not enough sleep or relax at night.

Mom helped us develop our personality and build our character, she led us pious and kindhearted and the manner we are in now of good citizen. I know that when you have rules, it's because you love us, setting limits and disciplining us - even though it's no fun for us - It was helped us learn and have good character. Now we are all mature and have the ability to live and deal with other people around the world.

She sent up on my behalf as well as my sisters a million prayers and best wishes every day, - even now - whenever we got pain or sick. " A mother holds her children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever".

My mother is the most important person in my life, and she will always a special place in my heart. We have had the best time together and shared the most beautiful memories. This is why I want to thank my mother and show her how much I really appreciate her.

Thank you for believing me, encouraging me to do my best and to try new things I am proud of you mom. I have confidence, believe and love myself because of you. " Men are what their Mothers made them".
